Clarence Coulter

Inspired by Beaver's scan of the incredible Prophet & His Disciples 45, I thought it would be nice to have a few sounds from it's writer, Clarence Coulter - including You Fool Pt1. The other soundclips are another version of You Fool, this time called Pusher by the Final Descions on Bumpshop and Ride On, on Hit Track. I guess Who Do You Think You're Fooling is known to everyone, but we could always wack it up if someone's keen to hear it. Any other Clarence Coulter tracks out there?

It would also be nice to complement this subject with one on Dave Hamilton's work too.

You Fool
Ride On
Pusher

Clarence Coulter himself, though it's clear he sings on Pusher and Who Do You Think...

Now who has more Coulter before we get into the 'Hamilton sound'?

I think I meant to say that Clarence Coulter sings on You Fool, rather than Pusher. Not sure if it's him on that one. And by the Hamilton sound, I mean the pysch soul, crazy echo stuff, rather than the Billy Gardener or Take Care Of Your Own Business type stuff...

Wouldn't be surprised if one would wanna keep any similar tunes close to their chests, but like in the case of Ride On, it's a cheapie so...

didn't clarence Coulter do "I can't fight this feelin" on Dyco 45 ? (same song as on a YBS LP) Think the 45 was credited to C. Coulter - Is this the same guy?

i just found a 45 called "Funky U.F.O." from The Inculcation Band on Sweet Bippy Music. a midtempo boogiefunk instro. The Credits go to C.Coulter & B.Hamilton. Could this be him? (there is another great artist clifford caulter, don't know if perhaps it's that one)
